He is One with all His Believers in Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17), Haeng Yeo Dellenbaugh

After I came to the United States in 1976, I met the Lord through one sister in the Lord. I felt His gentle love reaching me through her. The Lord was coming to reveal Himself to me through her. He was the Savior who loves man. He died for our sins on the cross. Now I could receive forgiveness of sins. That day, I received Him as my personal Savior. On my way back I confessed `God is alive.' I began to experience the Lord I had received at that time and thanked and preached Him. After 14 years in a denomination, I heard about the local church. I received books such as Christ versus Religion and Hymns. I sensed the Lord speaking to me within through the words and the songs. So, I had a long time of fellowship on the phone with the believer who sent me the books and hymns. The fellowship made me more curious about the local church, so I rushed to Anaheim to visit her. When I visited Anaheim and met the believers there, I was so happy and I wondered why this had not happened before. Then I was touched by a hymn about being one with the Lord Jesus. I was really one with the Lord Jesus. I AM ONE WITH THE LORD JESUS (Colossians 3:3)! When I met the believers, I saw they were also one with the Lord and were in the reality of that song. Romans 10:12: “There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him”; and 1 Corinthians 1:9: “God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord”; and Colossians 3:10-11: “And have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto full knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, Where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all and all”. Each say that there is no distinction. Calling upon His name and fellowship with His Son, I thought would be fulfilled after His coming back (Romans 10:13; 1 John 1:3). I never imagined I could experience them today. There were not only Koreans like me but also all nations and all of them were one. There was no distinction and they received each other in love and they rejoiced. I read the Bible a lot but until I read the teaching of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee I was not discriminating by word and I didn't realize God's high economy (Ephesians 1:9-10). Even Korean believers in a city could not be one, but when I met the believers in the local church the Lord showed me the reality of Acts 2:46-47. He showed me believers being one with each other as members of the Body of Christ as well as the beautiful Christ in my spirit through these members.

I have been meeting with the local church for about 10 years. During this time I have heard and read many messages by Witness Lee, who had consecrated himself, his time, and his life to the Lord to speak such messages. Whenever I read a Life-study and other books by Witness Lee, I think how intimate he must have been with the Lord to have gotten such precious words from the Lord to speak to us. Second Timothy 3:16 tells us “All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. All the words in verse after verse of the Bible teach us, convict us, and even correct us when we have wrong concepts. I thank the Lord for His Word. Many people and many pastors like Watchman Nee's books and get a profit from them but as Witness Lee did, I want to consecrate my whole life to the Lord and obey Him because “to obey is better than sacrifice,” (1 Samuel 15:22).
